                   Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to initiate and promote experimentation & innovation in the field of education to keep its high profile image in India and abroad. The computer literacy programme introduced in all Kendriya Vidyalaya is a hilarious step taken towards this mission. Since October, 2005, KVS HQ New Delhi has launched the project of opening separate website for each Vidyalaya which marks the beginning of connecting every Vidyalaya with vast computer network. Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Pathankot feels proud to open its own website on the recommendation of KVS HQ and on the valuable guidance and directions of Hon'ble Asstt. Commissioner  KVS (JR) Sh. P.K. Koul.

Mission, Viz
1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable  Central Government employees including Defense and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
2. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and
3. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indian ness among children
