Common Minimum Programme Session 2009-10 Primary Section

 

Under the Common Minimum Programme activity based teaching is being done in classroom by the teachers. To make the teaching learning programme effective some steps are being taken by teachers.

 

  1. Activity work sheets for classes are being prepared by teachers according to classes, subjects and topics.

 

  1. Teachers are using charts, flash cards and educational charts to make teaching learning process more efficient and convenient for the students.

 

  1. Educational CD on different subjects like EVS, English, Hindi, Maths, Moral stories are displayed in Junior computer lab and shown to the students, time to time teachers are using educational C.D. to teach EVS, Maths, English and Hindi languages etc.

 

  1. In Junior computer lab T.V. set is used to show educational CD. Moral stories, Educational film “Tare Zamin Par”, “Sparsh”, Jai Hanuman”. Pictures have been shown to all classes.

 

  1. Teachers are preparing their presentation with help of Encyclopedia Encarta.

 

  1. Teaching Learning aids are purchased on requirement of the teachers.

ix.                LCD Projector has been recently purchase and is functioning properly.

 

  1. Art and Craft periods are made more lively glaze Papers, Posters colours, Coloured charts, Markers Pens clay is provided on requirement of the teachers.

 

  1. Activity sheets are made for show achievers and bright students. Parents Teacher’s meetings are being conducted for the improvement of slow learners. Easy tests are being conducted. Regular monitoring is being done for under achievers. Library books are issued to the bright students and encouraged to take part in competitive activities like Vidyalaya quiz programme, Vidyalaya magazine and talent search competitions.
  2. Training of Photostat machines and LCD projectors have been two three to primary teachers by software engineers.

 

Two quarterly CMP meetings has been conducted in this Session 2009-10 First at KV NO-2 Pathankot dated 27.08.2009 and second at KV Lakhanpur dated 14.10.2009. Third CMP meeting is scheduled to be held at KV NO-4 Pathankot
